throughout the day can add up to 2.25 hours to 2.5 hours of
extra walking at work! Studies show that normal people's
average walking speeds is actually 1.1 miles per hour which is
the median walking velocity of a free living human being. Those
are the kinds speeds for activity that is effective for doing

Levine said that there is somewhat shocking data that suggests
that if you're a good regular gym-goer, three times a week, that
may not be as good for your health as interspersing little
